The Kings have agreed to terms on a one-year contract with unrestricted free agent left wing Alexei Ponikarovsky, Kings President/GM Dean Lombardi announced today.
Ponikarovsky, 30, recorded 21 goals ? his fourth 20-goal campaign in the past five seasons ? in 77 regular season games with Pittsburgh and Toronto in 2009-10. Other totals from this past season included 50 points, 61 penalty minutes and a minus-1 rating for the 6-4, 229-pound native of Kiev, Ukraine.
Ponikarovsky, who has seen action in nine NHL seasons, totaled nine points and 17 penalty minutes in 16 regular season games with Pittsburgh after the Penguins acquired him from Toronto for forward Luca Caputi and defenseman Martin Skoula on March 2, 2010.
Ducks Announce Agreement With ECHL Elmira
The Ducks announced today that the club has signed an affiliation agreement with the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL.

Rangers Agree To Terms With Frolov
Rangers President and GM Glen Sather announced today that the club has agreed to terms with unrestricted free agent forward Alexander Frolov.
Frolov has surpassed the 20-goal plateau in five of his seven NHL campaigns, including two 30-goal seasons in 2006-07 and 2008-09. Frolov, 28, has skated in 536 career regular season contests with the Kings, registering 168 goals and 213 assists for 381 points, along with 210 penalty minutes. He has recorded 24 multi-goal games in his career, including three career hat-tricks.
?Alex is a highly skilled player who we feel will play a key role in improving our offense and play in all situations,? stated Sather. ?He is strong competitor and has the ability to play either wing position.?

The Stars have agreed to terms with forward Fabian Brunnstrom on a one-year contract worth $675,000, according to an Associated Press report.

The Blues and forward David Perron agreed to a two-year contract.
Perron, 22, tied for fourth on the Blues with 47 points last season, including 20 goals.
LA Agrees To Terms With Clune, Lewis, Elkins, Cliche
The Kings have agreed to terms on one-year contracts with forwards Rich Clune, Trevor Lewis, Corey Elkins and Marc-Andre Cliche, Kings President/GM Dean Lombardi announced on Saturday.
Clune, 23, earned two assists and 26 penalty minutes in 14 regular season games with the Kings this past season, his first in the NHL. He earned both of those assists in his second career NHL game (Feb. 13 vs. Colorado).
Lewis, 23, began the 2009-10 season with the Kings and recorded zero points and zero penalty minutes in five games. He was assigned to Manchester on Oct. 30 and registered seven points (5-2=7) and six penalty minutes in 23 regular season games.
Elkins, 25, had one goal in three games with the Kings this past season, his first in the NHL. He made his NHL debut Dec. 15 at Edmonton and scored his first NHL goal in his second game, Dec. 17 at Calgary.
Cliche, 23, played in one game with the Kings last season ? his NHL debut ? March 2 at Dallas. He recorded 25 points (11-14=25) and 45 penalty minutes in 66 regular season games with Manchester, serving as a team alternate captain.

Sauer, 22, skated in 42 games with the Hartford Wolf Pack of the AHL in 2009-10, registering three goals and nine assists for 12 points, along with 45 penalty minutes.
